What is the Slingshot Fellowship?
The Slingshot Fellowship is an 18-month intensive to equip young Jewish philanthropists with the skills they need to deepen their impact in the Jewish community and beyond. This customized educational experience will equip young Jewish philanthropists with the leadership skills, philanthropic tools, and network they need to deepen their impact on Jewish life.
Who is Slingshot?
Slingshot’s mission is to mobilize young Jewish philanthropists as funders and active change agents, who, with their partners, shape the Jewish community to be vibrant and continuously evolving. Established in 2005 with support from a group of young philanthropists seeking to identify and fund organizations working on ambitious and innovative projects within Jewish life, Slingshot has evolved into a platform to reimagine Jewish philanthropic leadership and build a bolder, stronger Jewish future, with a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. We are harnessing the ambition and passion of the next generation and giving them the skills to be leaders and shape the world around them through four signature initiatives: The Slingshot Fellowship, Board Training and Matching, Action Circles, Resources for the Field.
